The protection wings against
eating disorders was painted by the artist for the
artist. Having battled bulimia and anorexia for 18
years, Wendy Kathleen felt moved to create an image
to illustrate both the symbolic battles one with an
eating disorder fights, but also to show a sense of
strength and recovery.
Wendy Kathleen has been a writer and guest speaker
on eating disorders at Pepperdine University. She is
currently working on a book about her own battle and
recovery from an eating disorder.
