is the artist's Grandfather, Earnest Witmond, who
has been in remission for nearly 30 years and is
celebrating his 90th birthday. The second is Denise
Maffei, who has been the artist's manicurist for
over 10 years. Denise has become a dear friend over
the years to the artist and has remained in
remission for nearly 20 years.
